CR78 - Drum Loops & Hits
The Roland CR-78 was a technical leap forward for music technology in 1978. Being the first drum machine to feature a microprocessor, it was also the first mass-produced programmable drum machine. -- Included in this pack are all the rhythms of the CR78, with multiple variations. The rhythms were mixed/produced within the CR78 by using the onboard sliders and the "Cancel Voice" buttons. Variations were also created by enabling the CR78 to play multiple rhythms simultaneously by pressing more than one style button at the same time. Also included is a varied collection of One-Shots for sequencing and layering. -- This collection features clean, unprocessed recordings taken directly from our CR-78. I utilised the external clock input of the CR78 (a novel feature at the time), to ensure all the loops were recorded consistently at 100BPM. -- This pack is the result of a true labour of love - carefully sampled to preserve the soul of this vintage unit. -- Whether you're producing retro synth-pop or modern electronic beats, this pack delivers the timeless sound and authentic feel of the CR-78, ready to drop into your productions.
