Drawing influence from the most iconic grooves of the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, every performance is played by hand and captured with intention. No programming. No shortcuts. Recorded at Hermitage Works Studios in London, the drums were tracked straight to 2 inch tape on an Otari MTR 90, running through a Trident 65 console fitted with CAPI transformers for added weight and tone. The kits are true period pieces: a 70s Japanese Pearl and a 70s Ludwig Vistalite, both chosen for their punch, warmth and unmistakable identity.
