Rhodes Eighty-Eight Vol. 1

The first release in the Rhodes Eighty-Eight series, and the first to feature my newest studio addition: a 47-year-old modded Rhodes Eighty-Eight full of character. Warm, soothing, and unmistakable, it has the tone that made the Rhodes a classic. Every sound was recorded direct (DI), with no amp or cabinet in the chain. Some loops and one-shots feature vibrato for a touch of movement, while others stay steady and unmodulated. Some loops are left clean, so you can shape them with your own tape, amp sims, or effects. Others are lightly processed with EQ, compression, and saturation, and some have a touch of reverb, so they sit in a mix right away. Great for lo-fi, neo-soul, boom bap, trap, R&B, and cinematic work
