Los Andes Pan Flutes Phrases

We teamed up with Argentinian Pan Flute master and Antara Records founder Alejandro Fatur to bring you this outstanding collection of four traditional Argentinian pan flutes. This sample pack explores a broad range of phrases. The Toyo covers the bass range, at well over a meter in length with rich sub-harmonics and a fat, breathy tone. The Zanca and Malta span the lower and upper mid-range. Finally, the Ch’ulli reaches into the soprano range. To capture the feel of a live pan flute in the hands of an expert, Alejandro recorded beautiful melodic phrases for each of the pan flutes. The phrases are organized by flute, tempo, and musical key.
