Crate Theory

Bust out your sampler, because these drums were made to be chopped, layered and swung. Inspired by the raw feel of classic underground hip-hop records from the golden era of boom bap, this sample pack features a selection of dusty drum hits and deconstructed drum loops full of groove, grit and character. Each loop is broken down into its individual elements, giving you complete control to rebuild and reshape them to taste. All the sounds were processed through high-end analog EQ, tape saturation and tube compression, so every sound carries the texture, movement and imperfection that made the golden era feel so human.
