576 Hi-Fi Studio Bells
Here you got 576 bell samples. We have recorded Agogos and Cowbells with different mics and also sampled Cowbells from Drummaschines. All samples are cutted and tuned very carefully for an exciting beat making experience. The samples are key labeled and sorted in folders by notes. We have recorded nine different machines. For example an old roland R8M Rackmodule with a lot of different cards. The drums from a Yamaha TX81Z, a very old Yamaha Electone Organ or the PSR Keyboard series and three classic Casio SA Toypianos. We also used a Novation Super Drumstation and a Roland Super JV 1080 with different cards. Also a classic Roland MC-505 and a Qasimidi Rave-O-Lution 907. The recorded audio files were named radomly and we run all the samples thru different hardware chains and totally different software effect chains. The software based results we then run thru the analog chain again and vice versa. We end up with a lot of different feeling and sounding bells. We have used an Aphex Aural Exciter Type C and also the Type C2 with the famous „Big Bottom“. SSL Channel Strip and Compressor, XLN Retro Color RC-20, Softube Harmonics and Transients, Klanghelm SDDR, Abberant Sketch Cassette, D16 Decimort 2, Soundtoys Decapitator, Arturia´s Tape Mello-Fi, VCA-65 and FET-76 Compressor, Steinberg Backbone and Magneto2, Waves J37 Tape, Abbey Road Saturation, DBX 160... From there we go thru this randomly named mess of bell samples to finally select the best ones by carefully listening. We make a selection which is big enough to give the user total flexibility in moods and styles and handy enough to make find the right bell sound very fast. We tried to put all the needed and relevant variations into that pack. You got very short bells with heavy transients on the attack or more synthetic chord like sounding ones. There are really phat ones with lots of sustain and lot of tape saturation added. Dry and sharp ones and very smooth and natural sounding bells. We want to give you a wide range of bells for as much different music genres as possible. All bells are phat and solid. You got all possible styles of electronic and natural sounding bells whithout overprocessed or FXed stuff. Just simple, clean, tuned and carefully selected 576 Super Hi-Fi Bells for your toolkit.
