Agent Method, born Darrick Atwater in Northern Virginia, embarked on his journey as a creative force when he was young. He found his footing in the greater Atlanta, GA metropolitan area, where he honed his skills as a sound designer, producer, engineer, and comedic content creator. His musical upbringing in the pop-punk, emo, and rock scene of the early 2000s in the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) area heavily influenced his sound design and music creation.Drawing inspiration from these early influences, as well as groundbreaking genres such as dubstep (melodic, tearout, riddim), future bass/trap EDM, and neo-throwback genres like synthwave, Agent Method (and a growing number of others) is building a crossover genre called "future punk." This unique blend of styles showcases a versatility and innovative approach to music production.As a sought-after creative, Agent Method continues to work with major audio companies like Slate Digital, Kilohearts, Sonic Academy, Make Pop Music, Reason Studios, and Cherry Audio among others.
