Pro Drums 70s Retro Funk

Pro Drums 70s Retro Funk brings the unmistakable groove and character of 1970s funk straight into your productions. This collection is all about the tight pocket, syncopated rhythms, crisp hi-hat work, ghost notes, punchy backbeats and dynamic interplay that defined funk drumming throughout the decade. At the heart of the collection are two completely different drum setups, each exploring a different side of the classic 70s sound. Rather than simply recording the same kit twice, both setups feature their own snare and cymbal configurations and were captured with different microphone setups and recording approaches, giving each kit its own distinct sonic identity.
